Overview: The Justice League find themselves transported to a new planet called Remnant, and they are also de-aged to teenagers. They have to team up with Team RWBY to find a way back to their world in Justice League x RWBY: Super Heroes and Huntsmen Part One.
Synopsis (spoilers ahead): As Justice League x RWBY: Super Heroes and Huntsmen Part One begins, Superman wakes up in a strange world and finds himself to be de-aged. He sees two members of Team RWBY, Ruby and Yang, fighting some Grimm. Ruby and Yang comment on how the Grimm is absorbing dust and shooting lasers, which they do not normally do. Superman tries to help but sees that his powers fade when he is in the shade. They are able to defeat the monster, and Superman tells them he is not from this world and his friends are missing. They decide to go to Beacon Academy to figure out what is going on.
Blake is at home and comes across Wonder Woman, who tells her the story of how she ended up in Remnant. Blake decides to take her to Beacon Academy to find out what is going on. Meanwhile, Weiss is at a party and meets Bruce Wayne. Bruce tells her that he needs help getting home, but she does not trust him right away. They have a fight, and Weiss is able to trap Bruce in a block of it. Due to the world of Remnant, Bruce is able to develop powers and grows bat wings, and becomes a true Batman. Weiss decides to help Batman find his way home.
Superman, Wonder Woman, Ruby, Yang, and Blake meet up with the rest of the Justice League consisting of Cyborg, Vixen, Flash, and Green Lantern Jessica Cruz. Jaune, Nora, and Ren agree with Ruby and the others to help the Justice League find their way home. The League discusses their last memory before waking up in Remnant, and they all remember fighting something but can’t remember. Flash suggests Killg%re, but they all don’t think so. Jessica Cruz needs her ring, and Jaune agrees to help her find it.
While doing their investigation, Batman and Weiss discover that the world that they are in is a simulation. They meet up with the rest of the team, and they all agree. The Justice League and Team RWBY have a big fight with some Grimm monsters. Batman notices Flash is glitching whenever he comes close to the Grimm monsters. Batman deduces that Flash has been taken over by Killg%re and this whole world is fake. Killg%re mocks them that he has finally won. The League is able to free Flash and defeat Killg%re.
Green Lantern and the League are able to send everyone back home. The League heads back to their universe, and Team RWBY exits their simulation, and part one ends with Ruby wondering who put them there.
Analysis: I’ll admit that I have no idea about what RWBY is and the lore around it. It was interesting. I thought it was cool the way that Team RWBY was able to use their weapons. I am also not a big anime guy. That style of animation I have never been a big fan of. Although I will say I liked Catwoman: Hunted but this movie didn’t seem as put together as that. This movie seemed more computer generated to me.
There was a strange subplot with Batman where he wanted to stay in Remnant because he has powers and he could do more there than in Gotham, where he doesn’t have powers. That just seems very off-mode for Batman, as he has rarely been a character who has wanted or needed powers. What makes him so great is that he has no powers but is able to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the Justice League and defend his city.
This is Part One, so there will be a Part Two. I wonder if Team RWBY will go to the Justice League’s world and we will see the adult versions of the League.

Overall Score
2.5/5
I am sure fans of RWBY will love this, and like I said, I have no idea about RWBY and what that world is about. I think on the TBU Podcast, I said it looks like Legend of Zelda to me, but it was unique, and the movie was a pretty quick watch.
