Rob here. Where do I start? Almost six years ago I started this journey to make a podcast about my favorite superhero, Robin. But not just any Robin. My favorite character Tim Drake, THE DRAKE. It’s funny to say that now.
Six years ago, my shtick has been saying the Drake in reference to the show, Tim, and fellow listeners. I’ve called this the Drake house for two years now not knowing that he would end up one day being called the Drake, but we will get back to that in the episode.
Robin, Red Robin, Batman, Batman Beyond and Drake. For me, it’s always been about Tim. Tim as a character. While it is mainly about his time as Robin, what he means in relation to Batman, and how this single character from 1991 made the comic world turn its head from the crash and burn that was Jason Todd and then together say, TIM DRAKE IS AWESOME!
This podcast is about my love for the character and the comics that feature him. Over the past ninety-nine episodes, I have done that with a ton of guests and two cohosts Terence O’Neil and Ryan Hoss. The three of us take a look back at the past episodes of the show. We talk about the highlights, the laughs and the Drake. So sit back relax and hear how we made it to episode one hundred of the Drake!
