Just when you thought there might be either not enough or too much Batman content, news comes out that a new animated series is heading to Amazon. It has been a few weeks since our last news episode, but we have a few things to cover.
The first news is that the long-delayed release of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has received yet another postponement. Now the game will release in February 2024.
We also learned that the animated project Merry Little Batman, which was thought to be canceled, is coming to Amazon along with a spinoff series. While there is not a ton of information for the new series, Bat-Fans can expect to see a holiday special that will lead into the new series in the future exclusively on Amazon Prime.
The fate of HBO Max was also revealed as it transitions to Max. While that really isn’t news related to Batman, there was a teaser trailer released for the upcoming Penguin series. We also learned that the series will release in 2024.
Outside of some minor updates here and there as part of our Gunn Watch, there was also a new trailer released for The Flash. As we get closer to the release date in June, will Batman steal the show? Will the marketing for the film be enough to push the film to success? Or will the film slowly build over the summer after it releases?
