Let’s face it. No matter what kind of car you drive, it’s not nearly as cool as the Batmobile. Coming this month you can at least feel a little bit like Batman when you pick up a Hot Wheels version of his iconic car at your local Walmart. The series spans the history of the vehicle in all forms of media from the 1989 movie version to the Dark Knight Rises tumbler to the car as it appears in Arkham Asylum. Hot Wheels Collectors has listed the six available Batmobiles:
- Batmobile
- Batmobile (1989 Batman film version)
- Batmobile (Arkham Asylum)
- Batmobile (The Brave and The Bold)
- Batmobile (The Dark Knight Rises)
- Lamborghini Murcielago (The Dark Knight Rises)
Are there any versions of the Batmobile missing from the list you’d like to see? Personally, I’m a huge fan of the Animated Series so I’d like to see Hot Wheels release one based of that design again. One can hope for the next wave.
