Just when you thought there was already a ton of LEGO Batman Movie sets on shelves with the current number over ten, The Hollywood Reporter has revealed four new sets which will be showcased at New York Toy Fair February 18-21. These sets are set to hit shelves in June.
The sets feature an iconic villain, some very deep cuts, some household names, as well as the self-described star of both The LEGO Movie and LEGO Batman Movie. Each set contains a villain vehicle and the premium sets include a restylized Batman vehicle as well. The playsets, which Heat Vision had exclusive first looks for, were clearly assembled with discerning fans in mind. They include the following.
Scarecrow Fearful Face-off including Scarecrow’s Gyro-Copter, Scarecrow and Batman. Priced at $14.99, the is the second time Scarecorw has appeared in a LEGO Batman Movie set and is the least expensive new addition.
Bane Toxic Truck Attack featuring Bane’s 6×6 Truck, Batman’s Whirly-Bat, Batman, Bane in his first ever big-fig form and the Mutant Leader. This set is priced at $49.99.
The Two-Face Double Demolition set contains a construction excavator with interchangeable parts that, get this, actually alter the vehicle to display a heroic and a villainous side. Also included is a Batcycle reminiscent of the one seen in the Nolan trilogy along with Batman, Two-Face and two GCPD officers. This set will be priced at $59.99.
The final set features the Batwing and is the highest-priced set at $89.99 and features the sleek new vehicle seen in the film. Harley Quinn is included along with both Batman and Robin. There is even a little vehicle that unloads from the backside of the Batwing.
