While the news has been out for a while, 2019 is the final year that Mattel will be producing action figures under the boys’ category. The items shown off at this year’s New York Toy Fair could very well be the last of what we will see from the toy company. Despite their license ending at the end of the year, Mattel is not holding back with tons of items shown off at the show. While some have been shown in various forms at other conventions, including SDCC last year, there are a few new items as well.
We have already got a great look at the new 12″ Batman family of figures from the True Moves figure line. Batman, Robin, and Batgirl (Barbara Gordon) were all on display, as well as some special Bat-suit variants of Batman.
What we hadn’t seen, was the latest group of 6″ DC Multiverse figures which include Poison Ivy, Riddler, Red Robin, and a Batman and Joker which mimick appearances from the 1989 film as well as the original action figures released by Toy Biz for the film. So which ones are you looking forward to?
