It is that time of the season when multiple places are reporting new action figures prior to them being officially announced. McFarlane Toys is typically ahead of leaks for new figures, but there has been a number of updates for multiple DC Multiverse figures coming summer 2021 and beyond.
The first image that has released features two different items of note. The first is a new vehicle with the Batcycle seen in Batman: Curse of the White Knight. This would be the third Batcylce offered with the Bat-Raptor and the Dark Nights: Death Metal Batcycle previously released. While the image shows the White Knight Batman figure, it is important to note that the figure is sold separately as it is the same Batman: White Knight figure that previously released last year.
The second item in the first image showcases a new two-pack which will see Green Lantern facing off against Dawnbreaker. While Dawnbreaker released last year as a single figure, this marks the first appearance of Hal Jordan’s Green Lantern in the DC Multiverse line.
The next image showcases two new additions to the Batman Universe with an armored Batman from Batman: The Dark Knight Returns and Shriek unmasked. Shriek is already part of the Batman Beyond line, but this new variant will be a new addition. All of these above-mentioned additions are expected to arrive by the end of the summer.
Finally, while not directly a Batman Universe film, The Suicide Squad film will be getting their own wave of figures as well. This wave will feature two characters from the Batman Universe, one of which may never have seen a figure if it wasn’t for the appearance in the film. Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn will get a figure along with Polka-Dot Man. The two figures will be part of a Build-A-Figure wave with pieces combining to build King Shark. While the film is set for release in August, the figures are planned for a Fall 2021 release.
