There was some sad news this week, as we learned that actor Michael Ansara, who provided the voice of Mr. Freeze in Batman: The Animated Series, has passed away at the age of 91. While Michael Ansara played many roles throughout his career, Batman fans will no doubt remember him for his amazing performances as Mr. Freeze throughout the years. He was able to portray Mr. Freeze in three episodes of Batman: The Animated Series, the animated movie SubZero, the Batman Beyond episode "Meltdown," and in the videogame "Batman: Vengeance."
His memorable performance as Mr. Freeze, which helped redefine a forgotten Batman villain, will be forever remembered amongst Batman fans.
