Earlier today on an investor call, Time Warner CFO John K Martin announced that a new Batman: Arkham game is being planed to be released later this year. Here is what he said about the game on the investor call:
"And we also have a strong games release this year, which will include the next release in the Batman Arkham franchise," he says. "So all in all, we expect Warner's to post another very strong year in 2013. And with a little luck, the year should be as good or maybe even a little bit better than 2012."
While there is still no official information as to the title or setting of the new game, or if even Rocksteady will be back as the developers, there have been some rumors previously of the game being a prequel to the first two Arkham games, and would feature the Justice League set in the Silver Age. But with this announcement today, hopefully we'll start to hear more official information about the game soon.
