Cryptozoic Entertainment, the current trading card licensee holder of DC Entertainment’s comic book properties is following up this fall’s DC Comics: The New 52 trading card set with DC Comics: Batman, The Legend to be released in the winter of 2012/2013.
The set is slated to have 61 cards with original art commissioned for the set as the base, along with a chase set called Carnival of Criminals, which will be available via 4×6 over-sized redemption cards. As well as randomly inserted artist sketch cards in each pack of cards and a Batcave puzzle.

This will be Batman’s first foray into the non-sports trading card world since Rittenhouse Archive’s Batman Archives in 2008.
