New Zealand Mint has released details for their latest gold collectible, which features a classic version of Batman. The quarter-ounce round coin measures just under one inch in diameter and is solid gold. It is priced at $900 and is expected to ship between December 2022 and February 2023. First appearing in 1939’s Detective Comics #27, BATMAN™ is one of the most iconic fictional characters in the world. To pay homage to his journey, we have crafted these incredible pure gold coins!
All coins are engraved and show BATMAN in a heroic pose. The ¼ oz gold coins show a close-up view of him along with his Bat Emblem on the side. The Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II is on the obverse of the coins, confirming them as legal tender.
