Below you will find brief descriptions of this week’s comics along with the ratings. Below the main TBU titles will be the DC Universe specific titles that feature characters from The Batman Universe. Rather than giving in depth reviews for those titles, we will be describing what happens in the book involving TBU characters and how it possibly impacts the story.

Batman: Rebirth #1: With a new interpretation of Calendar Man plaguing Gotham with seasonal spores, Batman enlists Duke Thomas in what can only be expected as the much hinted at Lark. Lucius Fox explains that Bruce has regained his wealth and company and Batman promises a new approach on things. -Matthew 3/5
Batman Beyond #13: The latest issue continues the story of Batman verses Rewire. We get a glimpse of Terry’s quest to find the fate of Red Robin and Tim’s quest to find Rewire. We learn that Rewire is not the same person Barbara knew but a surprising twist that he is Terry McGinnis himself. -Jim 4/5

Green Arrow: Rebirth #1: Black Canary becomes the main supporting character as Green Arrow returns to his pre-Flashpoint persona, goatee and all. Black Canary’s relationship with Oliver seems to only be gearing up.
Injustice: Gods Among Us: Year Five #11 (digital chapters #21-22): Through some self-analysis and a fight with Shazam, Harley finds out how much she has truly changed since Joker died and wants to finally take a stand against Superman. Meanwhile, Batman gains a new ally for the Insurgency with Hawkman joining his ranks.
DC Comics Bombshells #14 (digital chapters #40-42): Banished from under the sea, Mera is rescued and helped back to health (though without her powers) by a kind Irish man named Arthur. Joker’s Daughter pursues Zatanna and John Constantine through the years before and during the war. Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy battle Joker’s Daughter’s plan to possess Harley with Joker’s spirit, and in the process Quinn and Ivy fall in love.
