Below you will find brief descriptions of this week’s comics along with the ratings. Below the main TBU titles will be the DC Universe specific titles that feature characters from The Batman Universe. Rather than giving in depth reviews for those titles, we will be describing what happens in the book involving TBU characters and how it possibly impacts the story.
Main TBU Books
Batman #5: Batman faces off against Gotham with the help of Alfred and eventually the Justice League. After figuring out how Gotham’s power set works, Batman offers himself up as a sacrifice to save the city, which prompts Gotham Girl to fight off Gotham causing him to die. -Matthew 4.5/5
Nightwing #3: Nightwing ventures to a house of someone who lent a hand in a Parliament of Owls hideout along with Raptor and Batgirl. After a fight ensues between Raptor and Nightwing, Batgirl leaves warning Dick that he is getting to close to going off the edge. -David 4.5/5
Batgirl and the Birds of Prey #1: Batgirl and Black Canary call a truce with Huntress and have to deal with a new snake-themed villain, Asp, which belongs to a gang of snake-themed villains headed by Fenice, who is hired by the new Oracle, to take out the Birds of Prey. -Ian 4/5
Harley Quinn #2: Harley deals with taking out the zombie apocalypse caused in the previous issue. Poison Ivy makes an appearance at the end of the story to help even the odds. -David 4/5

Justice League #3: As the world is in peril, Batman finds Superman to ask for his help. After other world missiles rain down on the Earth, Superman finds agrees to help, but doesn’t know how to go about doing it. -Paul 2/5
Suicide Squad #1: The main story, Amanda Waller picks the members of the new team and they are sent off to their first mission via a space craft. The backup story features Deadshot. -Corbin 3.5/5
Secondary DC Universe Books (involving TBU cameos and digital firsts)
Injustice: Gods Among Us: Year Five #16 (digital chapters #31-32): While Batman and the Insurgency capture Cyborg, Hawkman arrives with a Kryptonite mace to fight Superman. The Regime arrives, however, and Superman is able to kill Hawkman when Flash takes away the mace.
Green Arrow #5: Black Canary continues to be front and center in the story that sees Oliver trying to rescue both Dinah and his daughter.
Superman #5: It turns out that Batman has a Batcave on the moon. Superman along with Lois and his son Jonathan, take a trip to the lunar Batcave where they come in contact with the Eradicator. Lois ends up in a hellbat suit to help Jonathan take down the Eradicator.
