Below you will find brief descriptions of this week’s comics along with the ratings. Below the main TBU titles will be the DC Universe specific titles that feature characters from The Batman Universe. Rather than giving in depth reviews for those titles, we will be describing what happens in the book involving TBU characters and how it possibly impacts the story.
TBU Books:
Batman and Robin Eternal #25: The Bat-family holds the line against Mother’s technology and army of Orphan assassins. 3.5/5
Batman #50: Bruce Wayne returns to Gotham City as Batman to assist Gordon in stopping Mr. Bloom with some help along the way from Duke Thomas. 4.5/5
Grayson #18: Dick and Tiger attempt to save Helena from an attack, but Helena ends up getting injured and her body becomes the new host body for Otto Netz. 3/5
We Are Robin #10: As the violence of Smiley and his gang rises, the Robin movement begins to grow again and our main Robins may have to put on their masks again to help take down the Jokerz. 3.5/5
Harley Quinn #26: Harley returns to Coney Island after breaking Mason out of jail. She has no idea what new adventures await her in the safe confines of home. 3.5/5
Teen Titans #18: The story into Wonder Girl’s past continues. Red Robin and Wonder Woman track the Titans and Cassandra to Greece where the true intentions of Cassandra and Wonder Girl’s lineage is revealed. 3.5/5
DC Universe Books:
Suicide Squad Most Wanted: Deadshot/Katana #3: Over on the Deadshot side of the issue, the Suicide Squad engages Floyd. Floyd is critically wounded and the character Evans becomes a new Deadshot. In the Katana story, she and the Suicide Squad join forces to fight Kobra, but on their attempt to escape, come face to face with King Kobra.
Secret Six #12: The Six go up against Lady Shiva as they battle to keep Strix out of the hands of the League of Assassins. Also, Dibny is reunited with an old flame and gets a new change of clothes.
Justice League 3001 #10: Supergirl goes on a killing spree before running into a self proclaimed diety. Wonder Woman gets possessed and the Justice League runs into old friends and new enemies in the very odd latest issue.
Deathstroke #16: Deathstroke fights Red Hood, and cops, and Red Hood again as he travels the country to find his kidnapped daughter in the latest violent issue.
