The role of the Penguin is the last piece of the rumored major roles for the film, with other characters joining Robert Pattinson’s Batman including Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman, Paul Dano as the Riddler, Jeffrey Wright as Commissioner Gordon, Andy Serkis as Alfred, and Peter Sarsgaard in an unknown role. Farrell had been linked to the role, but as with the other members of the cast, it was still only rumored until being confirmed by Matt Reeves.
Pictures continue to leak out of the first few days of filming, leading to speculation that it’s only a matter of time before we get our first official look at the main cast in full costume. While we will not be posting spy pics that could spoil the film on our site, be sure to follow TBU_Media on Twitter if you are interested in seeing some pics as they come in.
The film, rumored to be titled ‘The Batman,’ is scheduled to hit theatres on June 25, 2021.
