Just in time for the Holidays, two new collections are hitting 4K Blu-ray that will let Batman fans show off the HD setups they score on Black Friday.
WB Home Entertainment has announced that the films of Christopher Nolan are being released on December 19 on 4K Blu-ray. The first collection, dubbed “The Dark Knight Trilogy” will include the three Bat-films Nolan directed, Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, and The Dark Knight Rises. Along with the movies in 4K with HDR, the collection will also include special features and extras and retail for $70.99. Considering Nolan’s love of filming for IMAX, the movies should look positively epic in your home theater, so if you have the setup, definitely keep an eye out for the trilogy. The films will also release individually on the same day as the collection.
While he’s known for the Dark Knight Trilogy, Nolan also has several other critically-acclaimed movies that will make up “The Christopher Nolan Collection”, which will feature Interstellar, The Prestige, Inception, and Dunkirk along with the trilogy of Batman films. This collection will set you back $149.99 and will also include behind-the-scenes extras for all the films. Interstellar and The Prestige will also see solo 4K Blu-ray releases in case you’re looking to fill in some gaps in your collection.
