C2E2 is underway and The Batman Universe is on site getting interviews with some of the The Batman Universe's biggest creators. First up is current Nightwing writer, Kyle Higgins. Not only is Higgins currently writing Nightwing, but beginning with issue #19, Higgins will be taking over writing duties on the Batman specific chapters in Batman Beyond Unlimited. Today over at IGN, it was revealed that both digital titles of Batman Beyond and Justice League Beyond will be getting new creative teams. Current Nightwing writer Kyle Higgins will be taking over the writing of Batman Beyond from Adam Beechen, with Thony Silas doing the art. For Justice League Beyond, Christos Gage will be handling the writing for that title, with Iban Coello as the artist. But also announced was that a new Batgirl will be appearing in the Batman Beyond universe, and will make her debut in July, in a new story arc to be written…

Batman Beyond Unlimited is a print series that comes out once a month, which collects digital chapters from the entire month into one issue. Batman Beyond is one of the characters focused on in the series along with Justice League Beyond and Superman Beyond. Comic Book Resources has posted an interview with the three Beyond writers. DC Comics have announced February's solicitations and there is a lot going on in The Batman Universe.
First off Batman Beyond returns after being on hiatus since August. Norm Breyfogle returns to The Batman Universe as the artist on the series with writer Adam Beechen. The Batman Beyond stories will be collected with Justice League Beyond which we mentioned earlier today.

DC Comics have announced the Batman Beyond will be returning in February. It will be a new concept that will be released as Batman Beyond Unlimited. For the first time ever, digital chapters of the comic will be released weekly and then collected in print form once a month. The digital chapters will actually be released prior to the print version.

DC has finally announced that Batman Beyond will in fact be returning and not end with today's issue. The Source has confirmed that Batman Beyond will relaunch with a new #1 in 2012.
The Source also showed off of a four page preview of Batman Beyond #8. The issue hit stores today, August 3. Check out the first page of the preview after the jump and then head over to The Source for the other three pages. The issue was written by Adam Beechen, with art by Chris Batista and Rich Perotta.
