It looks like DC Comics is taking a page from their films by offering fans a trailer of sorts for upcoming events hitting the universe in 2018. On May 2, DC will release DC Nation #0, a one shot comic book that features three stories that pave the way for the second half of the year. The book will be available in print for twenty-five cents or free via digital download and feature stories by Scott Snyder, Tom King and Brian Michael Bendis.
Snyder’s contribution to the one-shot will focus on setting up May’s Justice League: No Justice, with a story co-written by James Tynion IV and Joshua Williamson with art by Jorge Jimenez (Super Sons).
Tom King and artist Clay Mann will weave a tale of the most unwanted guest at Batman and Catwoman’s wedding. Yep, the Joker just got the news and he’s definitely not going to miss it. This story will lead into July 4’s Batman #50.
Finally, Brian Michael Bendis will team with artist Jose Luis for a Superman story that ties together Action Comics #1000 with Bendis’ Man of Steel miniseries set to debut on May 30.
There is also a treat as DC Nation #0 will also provide a peak at the magazine version, a free magazine available in print and digitally which will be filled with all the DC news you can handle. The first issue will hits stores on June 6.
Which story are you most excited to read? It’s the one about Joker, right? DC Nation #0 hits news stands and digital on May 2.
