McFarlane Toys has announced a new line of action figures as part of their overall license with DC called DC Retro. The new line debuts with a focus on the 1966 Batman television series with not only figures, but also a matching vehicle and playset. The DC Retro line will focus on simpler (less articulation than the DC Multiverse line) and stand at six inches tall. They are meant to be more affordable and allow for a lower price point than the DC Multiverse figures. The first wave will feature Batman, Robin, and Joker along with the Batmobile and a Batcave playset. The figures are set to be priced at $18 each with the Batmobile and Batcave playset priced at $30 each. The wave is exclusive to Target and is set to release in August. You can preorder the items by heading directly over to Target.
