Welcome back to yet another Bat-Book Delays where I once again I am going to tell you that there will be a change in your schedule!
First of all 'Batman: The Dark Knight' #3 has once again been delayed, I'm sick of the delays to this book, what's more we still have no warning or explanation- us fans are just supposed to find it out ourselves! Still, if I can give credit anything to DC, it's that at least they've solicited it for a decent delay time this time around (Which is more than I can say for 'Batman Incorporated' but we'll get to that in a second). 'Batman: The Dark Knight' #3 is now solicited for the 15th June, a whole 3 weeks after its intended release of the 25th May. Having said that, 3 weeks is nothing compared to the 3 months or so that this book has already been delayed by, I'm estimating a release on the 29th of June at the earliest.
Now, 'Batman Incorporated', what can I say other than… I told you so! Remember last week when I said 'Batman Incorporated' was due for a delay this week? Well I was right; 'Batman, Inc.' #7 has been pushed back by 2 weeks from the 1st of June to the 15th which has pushed back #8 by a week from the 22nd June to the 29th. I wouldn't get your hopes up though, 'Batman, Inc' has been repeatedly delayed by just a week for months, DC would do better to delay it for a month from the start instead of teasing it back week by week, I'm sure that in a couple of weeks time, we'll find out that #s 8 and 9 are going to be pushed back by one more week!
That's about it for Bat-Book Delays this week. You expect to pick up 'Batgirl' #21, 'Batman: Arkham City' #1 (of 5), 'Batman Incorporated' #6, 'Birds of Prey' #12 and 'Red Robin' #23 tomorrow from your local comic shop, so a heavy week for the Batman universe this week, as well as this, the last issue of the 'Road to Flashpoint' arc in 'The Flash' #12 and 'Flashpoint' #1 are also hitting the stores on the 11th of May.
So remember to check next week for any more delays, I expect you'll all be considerably poorer and may even wish for some but also make sure you check back in a fortnight for any delays to 'Batman Incorporated'.
