DC has released their solicitations for all ongoing comic titles for the month of November 2015. Headlining these solicitations are the already announced first issues of Dark Knight III: The Master Race and Batman: Europa. Both are limited series that will run for eight issues and four issues respectively. In addition to these new titles, November will see the continuation of Batman and Robin Eternal with the solicitations for issues #5-8 (again all with the same solicitation) promising to take the story international with different Robins (and other characters like Harper Row and Cassandra Cain) each investigating different aspects of the case after “Batman’s greatest secret has torn the Robins apart.”
In Batman #46, the “Superheavy” story arc continues with Batman finally coming face-to-face with Mr. Bloom and turning to Bruce Wayne for help. Meanwhile, in Detective Comics #46, Jim Gordon’s Batman leaves Gotham for the first time to use his detective skills to assist the Justice League.
Grayson #14 finds Dick getting closer to finding out the identity of Agent Zero by searching through the secret lab of former Spyral leader Otto von Netz. Spoiler enters the scene in Batgirl #46 as Babs deals with what might be a technological gold mine in her civilian life and massive police corruption in her masked life. Also, we’ll see Batgirl appear in Batman/Superman #26 to team-up with Superman against Vandal Savage.
Red Hood and Arsenal try to work out their differences in therapy while also fighting a team of villains in issue #6 of their title. Damian finds himself in battle with Lu’un Darga with Talia, Goliath and new friend Mya by his side in Robin: Son of Batman #6. And the Robins deal with another loss and question who among them is worthy of trust in We Are Robin #6.
In other titles, Selina must chose between her family and Gotham City in Catwoman #46. The Gang of Harleys faces, geriatric super-spy Zena Bendemova in Harley Quinn #22, while Harley’s adventure with Power Girl comes to an end in the final issue of their miniseries. And the secret of who assembled Black Canary’s band (get it?) of misfits is revealed in Black Canary #6.
In team books, JLA #6 contains an all-out war with Rao. Justice League #46 continues the Darkseid War now that the entire Justice League have become gods. Red Robin goes missing in Teen Titans #14 and the team has to decide if they want him back. And Dick Grayson tracks down an Atlantean named Garth while being hunted himself in Titan Hunt #2.
Meanwhile, the Midnight Shift (with Corrigan and Drake presumed dead) enter the final battle for the soul of Gotham City and the second major story arc of Gotham Academy comes to an end as their investigation points towards Arkham Asylum. Tim takes the battle against Brother Eye to the moon in “humanity’s final showdown” in Batman Beyond. And Bat-Mite’s mini series comes to a close with the whole world annoyed with his attempts to fix things.
November will also bring new issues of other TBU titles New Suicide Squad, Earth 2: Society, Batman ’66, Injustice Year Four, Batman: Arkham Knight, a special one-shot Batman: Arkham Knight Robin Special, Batman: Arkham Knight Genesis, and DC Bombshells.
