Task Force X has met it’s match in the form of legendary Saturday morning cartoon super-group The Banana Splits. The Hanna-Barbera line is expanding into direct contact with the DC Universe in four crossover annuals as DC announced this morning.
Along with the Suicide Squad/Banana Splits Annual #1, we’ll see Adam Strange/Future Quest Annual #1, Booster Gold/The Flinstones Annual #1 and Green Lantern/Space Ghost Annual #1. Each one-shot will include a back-up story featuring other returning Hanna-Barbera characters. The Flintsontes issue will also feature Harley Quinn and the Jetsons.
So yes, it is now cannon that Deadshot, Harley, Killer Croc and Katana were once rescued from the depths of Belle Rev by Fleegle, Bingo, Drooper and Snorky. So whether you are looking forward to it or not, it is happening.
