The New Zealand Mint has released details for their latest silver collectibles coins, which feature a variety of Batman Universe characters including Joker, Robin, and Batman himself. The last time we heard from the New Zealand Mint, they created a special pure silver foil of Detective Comics #27 almost two years ago. Now they are back with more offerings. Featured on $2 coins from New Zealand, these are all available as part of the 2020 issue group and will have two thousand or less available for each coin. Officially licensed by DC Comics this second coin in the JUSTICE LEAGUE series, showcasing the original members of the team, is of the CAPED CRUSADER himself.
This 1oz pure silver coin features a powerful colored image of BATMAN alongside the BATMAN logo. Additional engraving of the GOTHAM CITY skyline and the BAT SIGNAL complete the design. As a legal tender coin, the obverse features the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
