After the success of two other audio dramas set in the Batman Universe, Spotify has announced its next release from the world of DC Comics, The Riddler: Secrets in the Dark. The new series will feature Hasan Minhaj returning to his role in Batman Unburied; the Riddler.
The audio drama will follow the Riddler from his perspective and see the return of Batman and Barbara Gordon from the Unburied series as well. David S. Goyer returns to the universe he first created for Batman Unburied as well. Batman must reluctantly team up with the Riddler to deal with a new threat in Gotham City. During the Stream On event, Minhaj shared the announcement.
Batman Unburied premiered last year and, according to Spotify, topped the charts in thirty-five markets after being adapted into nine languages. This year already saw the release of Harley Quinn and The Joker: Sound Mind, which also reached the top of the charts in six markets.
The Riddler: Secrets in the Dark is set to debut later this year on Spotify. In the meantime, you can listen to the entire first season of Batman Unburied and Harley Quinn and The Joker: Sound Mind exclusively on Spotify.
