Below you will find brief descriptions of this week’s comics along with the ratings. Below the main TBU titles will be the DC Universe specific titles that feature characters from The Batman Universe. Rather than giving in depth reviews for those titles, we will be describing what happens in the book involving TBU characters and how it possibly impacts the story.

Detective Comics #52: James Gordon wraps us his time in the desert by finishing the cult that has claimed the lives of many soldiers. -Corbin 3.5/5
Batman/Superman #32: The Trinity unites to try and find the impostor Superman previously seen in Metropolis. After a brief confrontation with a group of Chinese superheroes, the heroes team up to discover that Superman’s discharged solar energy has gone into an experiment to create a Chinese Superman. Part 5 of the current Superman story arc: The Final Days of Superman. -Bill 3/5
Batman Beyond #12: Tim faces off with the villain Rewire. Unfortunately, Tim’s suit fails and Rewire is not alone. -Jim 4/5
New Suicide Squad #20: Even with the Suicide Squad coming together as a team and getting reinforcements from Amanda Waller, the release of the Spirit of Murder and the insane Adam Reed may still make this their final mission. -Bill 4.5/5
Injustice: Gods Among Us-Year Five #9 (Digital Chapters #17-18): Despite the help from his new friend, Bizarro learns the hard way about how powerful he really is and the consequences of his actions. Growing dissent within the Regime helps to highlight Clark’s true colors as a tyrant. -Bill 3/5
DC Universe Books
Midnighter #12: The series comes to a close as Midnighter teams up with Apollo, Spyral and the Suicide Squad to finish the battle the series has been leading to.
The Flash #51: The Riddler makes an appearance in the issue as a villain who holds the city hostage until Flash reveals his identity.
