Below you will find brief descriptions of this week’s comics along with the ratings. Below the main TBU titles will be the DC Universe specific titles that feature characters from The Batman Universe. Rather than giving in depth reviews for those titles, we will be describing what happens in the book involving TBU characters and how it possibly impacts the story.

Detective Comics #948: Batwoman and Batman link up with Argus scientist Dr. Victoria October as they discover the Colony is stealing venom from the Monster from the Night of the Monster Men story and plan on breaking Jacob Kane out of custody. -Ian 3.5/5
All-Star Batman #6: Mr. Freeze has decided to release an old strain of bacteria that has been frozen for millions of years and Batman must stop him. The back-up features Riddler and an appearance from Daryl Gutierrez. -Corbin 4.5/5
Batgirl and the Birds of Prey #6: The Birds must deal with the attack of the snake gang as Huntress must put aside her feelings of vengeance for justice. Meanwhile, Gus, the new Oracle, is revealed to be working for someone. -Ian 3.5/5
Red Hood and the Outlaws #6: After a few desperate plans, the Dark Trinity breaks the mind connection between Bizarro and Black Mask. With their victory, Batman gives his blessing to Jason for the group to continue working together, not as heroes, but as outlaws. -Bill 5/5
Gotham Academy: Second Semester #5: As Colton is accused of stealing a map and is set to be expelled, the Detective Club members help in different ways to prove that he shouldn’t be expelled. -Gerry 3.5/5

Titans #7: The Titans are taking some down time and setting up their new base of operations in Manhattan. Flash has a race with Superman and is pleased to know that someone actually remembers him from the past timeline. -Jim 4/5
Suicide Squad #9: A tie-in to the Justice League vs Suicide Squad event that features the original Suicide Squad on a mission to destroy weapons of mass destruction on a small island near Japan. The team ends up being a little too greedy and pays the price for it. -Corbin 4/5
Justice League vs Suicide Squad #4: The fight we were waiting for happens as the Justice League teams with the Suicide Squad to take down the first Suicide Squad. Just when it looks like the good guys are winning, Maxwell Lord reveals that he is bed with Eclipso. -Matthew 4/5
Secondary DC Universe Books (involving TBU cameos and digital firsts)
Earth 2: Society #20: Batman (Dick Grayson), Batman’s son John and Huntress (Helena Wayne) work with Citizen Steel to find Central Control to stop Ultra-Humanite.
The Flash #14: With a brief mention of Captain Boomerang’s current affiliation with the Suicide Squad, Harley Quinn and Killer Croc both make a brief cameo.
Justice League/Mighty Morphin Power Rangers #1: In what is mostly an introduction story to the Power Rangers, after an attack, the Black Ranger is teleported to Gotham City and runs into Batman. The confusion of new masked people causes a fight and the rest of the Rangers arrive to try and take on Batman. Flash appears only to have Batman kidnapped by the Pink Ranger’s Dinozord.
New Super-Man #7: Bat-Man of China is present and his school, the Academy of the Bat, is introduced where the top student challenges Bat-Man for the cowl.
