With filming happening in New York on location, a number of images and videos were bound to surface. So without giving anything major away, here are some of the highlights from Saturday, Sunday and today.
First up is a video of a scene that was filmed in Los Angeles featuring a shootout in an alley. Not sure of the significance, but it seems that it is a tactical move.
Next up, we get to see a little of the character played by Matthew Modine. We first told you of a rumor that he could be playing a crooked politician by the name of Nixon. I am not too sure of that after some of the new pics that have surfaced from over the weekend. Mail Online has posted a number of pictures.
My theory lies in the idea that if he was a politician, why would he be involved in a shootout? If you look at the second image, it appears that he could be a corrupt police officer who Joseph Gordon-Levitt's character is watching by orders from Gordon. Either way most politicians are not holding guns in crisis situations.
It appears that the rumor about Wall Street being involved in filming is true based off this next video.
Quick getaway using traders as a shield. Who are the henchman?
Last thing, it seems that the Batwing is in New York along with Bane's Doomsday device.
The Dark Knight Rises hits theaters July 20, 2012.
