Warner Bros. has donated George Clooney's Batman cowl from the 1997 film "Batman and Robin" to the Smithsonian. This is only one of many items that Warner Bros. has donated from 13 different films the company made in the 1940's to 2005. The donated items will have a permanent home at the museum and will be on display at this year's Smithsonian's 2013 Classic Film festival which began on Friday March 8th. Besides the Clooney Batman cowl, Warner Bros. also donated Christopher Reeve's Superman cape from "Superman III", Halle Berry's Catwoman suit from the "Catwoman" movie, and costumes and props from Tim Burton's "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" film.
