TBU reported last week that Warner Bros was courting several A-list actors to be involved in the upcoming Suicide Squad films. The internet has been a buzz with rumors recently that Jesse Eisenberg might be one of those actors reprising his role as Lex Luthor from the upcoming Batman v Superman.
While Lex Luthor has never been a member of the Suicide Squad in any DC comic, he has had previous dealings, even going as far as to organize his own version of the team as part of the “Our Worlds at War” storyline. While Warner Bros has yet to comment on the rumor, the inclusion of characters from other superhero films would lend credence to a film that many consider to be a harder sell to audiences not already familiar with the concept.
“Suicide Squad” is set to be released in 2016.
