DC Comics will begin releasing some of its titles bi-weekly in 2016, according to reports from CBR and BleedingCool. No specific titles have been identified as being part of this new effort, but CBR has confirmed with DC that it will be several of the publisher’s “regular series” as opposed to event books.
DC has published bi-weekly and even weekly titles in the past, ranging from a bi-weekly Brightest Day series to weeklies like 52, Countdown and the current Batman & Robin Eternal.
Given that DC has already solicited its March 2016 titles, the soonest the Burbank-based publisher could launch bi-weekly books would be April 2016.
