Hello everyone, Gary from Bat-Fans here! It's been a real busy couple weeks, but I wanted to take some time to share with you my Batman experiences from this year's Dragon*Con in Atlanta, Georgia! As a more Sci-Fi/Fantasy heavy convention there wasn't a whole lot of Batman comic guests, but TV's dynamic duo Adam West and Burt Ward, were both in attendance this year! in fact, the mayor of Atlanta gave commendations to both and declared September 1st "Adam West and Burt Ward Day!" How cool is that, iconic actors still being recognized for their work decades later!

Also of note was the “World's Finest” marraige proposal, where TV's Superman Dean Cain assisted a man dressed as Adam West's Batman in proposing to his girlfriend dressed as Yvonne Craig's Batgirl from the 60's TV series in front of a crowd of fans! Batman, a young man named Ruby, documented the event in the video below. At around the 3 minute mark, you'll see Dean Cain calling out the two love-birds and setting things in motion, what a great story!
Finally, there was the main event at Dragon*Con – the cosplayers! Here are a handful of my favorite Batman and DC costumers from this year!
