Comic Book Resources did an interview with Grant Morrison today about his work on the Superman title, Action Comics. While the interview was dominated by the man in blue, there was a quick mention at the end of the interview regarding the future Leviathan storyline.
CBR: Before I let you go, "Batman, Incorporated," a title that really resonated with the fans, is currently on hiatus. What can you tell us about "Batman, Incorporated: Leviathan Strikes?"
Grant Morrison: Chris Burnham is halfway through the "Leviathan Strikes" stuff. He's doing just amazing work. It's really weird. It's Batman trapped in a mind control facility from the cold war. The first issue should be out early in the new year. It took us a long time to do the first run of "Batman, Incorporated," so we wanted to get ahead a bit before "Leviathan Strikes" comes out.
While it is unclear if Morrison was talking about the one-shot set for release in December, which seems to be what CBR was asking about or if he was referencing the new series focusing on Leviathan, he does say that they are getting ahead. Batman Incorporated: Leviathan Strikes hits stores in December.
