Below you will find brief descriptions of this week’s comics along with the ratings. Below the main TBU titles will be the DC Universe specific titles that feature characters from The Batman Universe. Rather than giving in depth reviews for those titles, we will be describing what happens in the book involving TBU characters and how it possibly impacts the story.
TBU Books:
Detective Comics #51: Jim Gordon gets an unexpected visit from a former soldier and buddy from Gordon’s days in the Marines. After an attack that leaves his friend dead, Gordon heads to Afghanistan to investigate a religious cult. -Corbin 3/5

Harley Quinn and the Suicide Squad: April Fool’s Special #1: Harley tries to help her fellow Super-villains with their emotional problems but can’t help herself from causing trouble. -Gerry 3/5
Justice League: Darkseid War Special #1: While trapped inside the ring of Volthoom/Power Ring, Jessica Cruz must overcome her fear and find the central battery in order to escape. Meanwhile, despite Myrina’s attempts to control the darkness within her daughter, Grail appears to begin her ultimate plan by combining the Anti-Life Equation to Steve Trevor. -Bill 4.5/5
New Suicide Squad #19: As Task Force X fights to survive against the forces of the Fist of Cain, Amanda Waller assembles a group of supervillains to help rescue the team. -Bill 4.5/5
Injustice Gods Among Us-Year Five #7 (Digital Chapters #13-14): Damian continues to struggle with his identity but receives some advice from Catwoman during a burglary that he will take to heart. Despite an intervention from the ghost of Nightwing, an impressionable Damian seems to be taking a few more steps down a darker path under the “guidance” of Superman. -Bill 4.5/5

Midnighter #11: Midnighter finds himself in the middle of a feud between the Suicide Squad and Spyral. In need of assitance, Midnighter turns to the most unlikely of companions: his ex, Apollo.
