After the success of last year’s Wonder Woman 5K event, it made only sense for Warner Bros. to continue the tradition by focusing on Batman this year. As part of the eightieth-anniversary celebration, a special 5K night run/walk will take place on the evening of Batman Day, September 21 in Los Angeles, California.
The event will start at Los Angeles’ Grand Park at 5:30PM and take participants through some of the city’s landmarks and tunnels. The race will finish back at Grand Park. All racer’s who finish the race will receive a special limited edition medal to commemorate both the celebration of Batman and their accomplishment. The race will also feature a pre-race expo and post-race finish line festival with live entertainment and photos with Batman.
Registrants will also receive a special Batman t-shirt and pin in addition to the medal. More information can be found at the Batman Run site including details on how to register. And if you are not going to be in the Los Angeles area, don’t worry, you can also race virtually as well and still participate in the awesome event.
