Don’t worry, Suicide Squad 2 is still going to happen. Warner Brothers is anxious to spin off some new material from the summer blockbuster however.
While David Ayer and Margot Robbie are attached to Gotham City Sirens, the earlier report from The Hollywood Reporter also mentioned that their are plans to see Deadshot get a solo treatment as well as a direct sequel for Suicide Squad in the not-too-distant future.
Will Smith famously inhabited the role of Deadshot for the original, but with a sequel and a spinoff in the works it’s anybody’s guess who he will be staring down the sights at next.
