Well, the March 2014 solicitations are in and we see Batman: The Dark Knight ending its run with an amazing Man-Bat story. This was blogged previously by Gregg Hurwitz (writer of Penguin: Pride & Prejudice) who was thankful for having a lot of fun on the series. According to the solicits, Talon will also be ending in March.
It's not a suprise to see Talon cancelled, but it showed the signs. James Tynion IV (current writer of Red Hood & the Outlaws and Batman: Eternal) will be leaving the book after this month, Marguerite Bennett writing a one issue story in January 2014, and Tim Seeley writing a two issue story from February 2014 to March 2014. It seems that Seeley will be ending the series on a real high note, which will bring joy to Talon fans who have been following the series since the beginning. Talon really did help Tynion flex his creativity and get his feet more wet in DC Comics. All is not lost for Tynion, he will one of the writers on Batman: Eternal which will definitely put the writer on the well deserved map.
