Gotham has added yet another cast member to it's roster, this time it is Cory Michael Smith who will be playing The Riddler. The Riddler will play a key role in the pilot episode of the show with an option to return as a regular on the show in the future.
Here is the Gotham write up for The Riddler:
“Nygma is a brilliant young forensic scientist working for Gotham PD and a penchant for speaking in … rather cryptic language. Inquisitive, eccentric and outgoing — yet socially awkward — he wants to be liked, but he doesn’t quite know how.”
Smith will be the first actor to portray The Riddler in live-action since Jim Carrey in Batman Forever.
