Batman: Arkham City has been out for just over twenty-four hours and while it may seem early to be looking towards the next Batman video-game, Warner Bros. is too.
In an article posted over at The LA Times, talking about the great success of Warner Bros. Interactive, a couple of new games were mentioned as if they had already had been announced.
The first of those games appears to be a sequel to Lego Batman, which was released back in 2008. The game was a huge success for everyone involved and still sells well in stores today.
But there is another game that no details were mentioned, other than it would be based off of a DC property. It is doubtful that this could be yet another Batman game, but it could mean that the world of DC Comics will begin to expand outside of Batman, just as the films have done in recent years. There was a rumored Suicide Squad game in the works going back as far as Comic Con 2010.
So what is the mysterious DC project? Time will tell, but for now the release of Lego Batman 2 is the next Bat-game to be looking for.
