The Dark Knight Rises!

LA Times' Hero Complex had an interview with Chris Nolan about all things related to Batman 3. In the interview, Nolan names the sequel to The Dark Knight. The title will be The Dark Knight Rises.

After this announcement, Nolan was asked what villain will be in the film. He did not answer directly, but he did say that it will not be the Riddler.

Nolan also stated that he met with Warner Bros. officials and convinced them not to submit to the current 3D craze and focus more on IMAX.

With news coming straight from Chris Nolan, it will only be a matter of time before we get some news from Warner Bros. as far as casting and story.
