Carol Kane Joins Gotham

TV Line has reported that Carol Kane has been cast as Gertrud Kapelput, the mother of Oswald Cobblepot. They describe the character as proud and faded beauty with delusions of grandeur. She will first appear in episode 2 and it is planned to be a recurring role.

Gotham's pilot episode will premiere at Comic Con International and will air this fall on Mondays on FOX.
