While more and more spy pics continue to emerge from Detroit for Batman v Superman, many have been wondering when Warner Bros. would announce some of the other films that they have planned as part of their announcement of DC Entertainment properties getting feature length films. While Batman v Superman and Justice League have both been revealed by WB, Shazam is seemingly on the list as well.
Well it seems that news will be coming slowly as part of the industry trades as Variety is reporting that WB is planning on making a film based off the Suicide Squad. The report states that they already have a producer (Dan Lin) and writer (Justin Marks) for the film and are now looking at David Ayer to direct the film. Ayer’s most recent project “Fury” hits theaters next month. Ayer also most recently directed “End of Watch” and “Sabotage”.
No other specific details about the film have been made, but keep it locked to TBU as more new about the film is released.
